She’s got a pretty strong argument, there. At least she did not make the guys hair stand up straight this time.

Hey Lily, if you can do all that, how about coming here to Wisconsin and taking care of the snow we have coming this weekend? It’s supposed to start late Saturday afternoon or early in the evening. And they are predicting up to 9 inches of the white stuff. YUCK!!!! I’m supposed to work from 2:00 PM to 11 PM both Saturday and Sunday and I don’t want to try to drive in all that snow, especially at night! So come here and make all the snow miss my streets and all the streets I have to drive on and make it miss my car and my driveway too while you’re at it. I do plan on going to work tomorrow, though I may try to beg off early. I’m already anticipating calling in on Sunday if the roads get too bad. Nothing in my job is important enough for me to risk my life to get there.

In reply to Odette Lussier yesterday – I guess you’re right. We are here to serve cats. Lily won’t change the snow for me. Cats aren’t supposed to make our lives easier. They do make our lives better, though just by being cats.

in reply to Saucy1121 yesterday – I consider “snow” a 4 letter word too – I usually call it "That “S’ word” I like Lou Grant’s description of snow on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” from back in the 70’s. I don’t recall his entire description, but I agree wholeheartedly with all he said about it. A slippery slimy, slushy mess!
