If it weren’t so sad it would be funny. The cast of ignorant fools is taking shape. Yup, leadership is being reflected here. Unfortunately, Trump is a sociopathic narcissist with ADHD. So this is unlikely to go well. But I remain hopeful against all odds. Won’t hurt me unless there’s a total meltdown. I run a global business, have plenty of money, and can roll with any punch except a societal meltdown. Inflation? For me not a problem, I have diversified my holdings. Rising interest rates? No big deal, there’s always money to be made somewhere. Unemployment? Can’t fire me, I own the business. Etc. I cry for my country, not for me and my family.
It’s not so much ignorance as determined self-interest with no care for anyone who comes after them or who makes less money. Cash now, in the present tense, is all that matters.
