This was probably Trump’s argument if he had lost. That and all the illegal votes.

One of those documents was made of recycled toilet paper from Donald Trump’s bathroom. You guess which.

The electoral college was a compromise between those wanting voting restricted to those owning an acre of urban land or a section of rural land, and those wanting one free man one vote. It enabled slave-owning planters, slave-trade ship owners, and wage-slave factory owners to have veto over the far more numerous yeoman farmers and craftsmen. Ratification of the Constitution was held hostage to get it included. The issue is still being fought in these pages between those favoring a democratic republic and those wanting a dictatorship.

Donald Trump settled for $25 million in a class-action lawsuit due to the scam Trump University. The Electoral college put the least popular president ever into the white house, after settling (remember how Trump never settles?) the fraudulent scheme that was Trump U.

Only Trump could win an election and continue to claim that it was rigged.

Circumstances never change, so why should institutions change? If it made sense in the late 18th century, it must make sense in the early 21st century.

I understand how democracy works – we are a representative Republic.

Hillary Clinton won 490 counties. Donald Trump won 2,622. This is why the Electoral College exists. Look at a map. Blue west coast and all of the Northeast except for PA. That is where the votes are. The South and MidWest don’t matter to a certain party.
