I’ve heard Cuddles Sekall say honky donky in Christmas in Connecticut, but never heard of “donk”.

In poker, donk is slang for a mark or newbie.

Dad used " putzing around" to refer to doing small odd jobs around the house, generally requiring little physical or mental effort. I do that, but hadn’t thought of the word since leaving for college.

Around here, a Donk is a full-sized car, usually a Buick, sitting on a set of 24" rims with super low profile rubber and a ridiculous offset on them, making the wheels stick out past the side of the car. At the other extreme, we have guy with 14 or 15" wheels, also with super low profile rubber on them. The extreme part is the addition of spoked spinner hubcaps, and occasionally actual spoked wheels, where the spinner protrudes 12 to 18" past the edge of the wheel. Both styles are a …wonder to behold.
