It’s worse than just that. You forget about putting up with the white supremacist, anti-gays, or just general bigots…. Or is that just at my house? Last year, I lasted about 5 hours before walking out the door and walking home. I’m taking bets on how long I last this year.

Just had a tasty Thanksgiving dinner with a half-dozen relatives, from a college-age niece to an 80-year-old aunt. After a while, we sat around the living room and talked. Conversation turned to the physics work my soon-to-be nephew is doing, and from there to superheroes (the inevitable outcome of physics experiments, you see).
