Seeing as it was the English who invented English, I think that it’s the Americans who say ‘privacy’ funny!

Always had trouble grasping why “The British are Coming” when they are already in a British colony.

From ‘My Fair Lady’. There even are places where English completely disappears. In America, they haven’t used it for years!

Don’t forget aluminum.

can somebody phonetically show how the British say privacy?

Americans also say “garage”, “controversy” and “lieutenant” incorrectly. And they misspell “connexion.”
