Unfortunately, cloud cover here prevented it from being seen here.
It has a cape Roy it’s just behind it and it’s not quite large enough to see from in front! And that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

I got out my reflector telescope last night! It looked so good, it was like I was on an Apollo spacecraft heading for it! !
Looked good ‘down under’ too…

Would be nice if we could see it with the smoke in the sky. but will give a good try
