See, folks. That comment is how candidates know voters are easily fooled. Don’t want “partisan?” Well, partisan is what makes the system work. Imagine no partisan. That would mean that it was an oligarchy with no popular input, no parties to be partisan about. The whole thing depends on two parties with differing views. That’s where balance comes from. When there’s only one “party,” there’s nothing partisan. There are and have been such places. You wouldn’t like them. If the guy you elected wasn’t partisan, you’d be real unhappy.
