Went to the Grand Canyon two years ago, bought a book on all the deaths there…lots of them from falling so he has a point.

Reality though is, it isn’t just straight down it is more like drop a hundred or so feet, hit a small ledge, drop another 50 or a 100 feet hit another small ledge, like that all the way down.

We didn’t get to go to the north rim, too early in the year and that closes for the winter so it is possible that it is that way there.

I bought a halter-type leash for my 19-month-old in Austria just before we went to the Grand Canyon. I could have sold it 50 times at least and for triple what I paid for it during that visit.

Your money back if it doesn’t work.

Years ago, an old family friend (a B-29 tail gunner during WW2) came to the North Rim, looked over the railing, and panicked. I think the result is still easily seen in the deep hand impressions in the railing!

Hey, I’ve hiked down into the canyon three times, and I think this concern is really excessive — in fact it’s over the top.
