At least with a slow deliberate legislature we are assured to have the laws that we really can agree on and make sense. We might not be able to do anything about mass shootings. We can’t solve racism, our elections are a mess. The rich are getting richer and the poor can’t catch a break.But by the flag of Besty Ross, we shall not take a selfie in the election booth, and don’t we all feel better now? /ffs
With opposing political parties, only the trivial can be agreed upon. I cringe every time I hear that a measure was passed with bipartisan approval in our current Congress.
