Yeah, I was under the impression that there were plays specifically designed to beat blitzes and that a team that blitzes on every passing down is as woefully predictable as a team that has a passing package. If a coach was paying attention.

P3 – Of course all this is just an excuse to get to where they’ve been planning to get to….Heather getting to be a coach. So add her to the staff, drop the season finale, miss the playdowns, and on to basketball!

So Gil has had enough of this folly of playing Heather, and instead has decided to overmatch and crush the confidence of Paul Beaudry. Who has some impressive credentials, but seems a little old to be playing high school football:
Paul Beaudry (born 1960) is Professor and Canada Research Chair in the UBC Department of Economics at the University of British Columbia. His main fields of research are macroeconomics, the economics of technical change and labour economics. He is also a Fellow of the Bank of Canada.
Beaudry has extensive experience in his career as an academic professor. Obtained his Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University, New Jersey, USA. After graduating from Princeton, Beaudry held several prominent faculty positions from a number of prestigious universities, these include: Oxford University, Boston University, and the Universite de Montreal. Beaudry had also been commissioned as a visiting professor at the Paris-Sorbonne, Toulouse School of Economics, and MIT.
Paul’s hobbies include playing the position of tight end in American football.
