Repeal the “Insurance Health Connection” And keep insurances industry out of health care, they are in cahoots with big pharma to suck our future earnings before we can ever earn them,

More scare tactics just before the election. What a surprise!

    .

PPACA, aka Obamacare made it possible for me to have health insurance and prevented me from becoming disabled.

    .

Fix it by changing to single-payer, all procedures cost the same everywhere.

    .

Republican repeal and replace is a farce.

And we’re still waiting for the Republicans to provide a viable alternative, other than going back, or providing “vouchers”, which is just another name for “Your Premiums are REALLY Going Up!”

Better coverage, 22% increase not so bad when coming from a plan that provided nothing. BTW: before ACA my average annual increases on my group policy premiums was 15% for years, after, 1-3%, not a bad deal

Without the changes mandated by the ACA, I would have used up all Insurance benefits about 6 months before my transplant organ became available and I would have not been admitted to the hospital and would have died 8years ago.. Even if admitted as a charitable case, I would have lost my house, car, and now be bankrupt at the age of 70 and also unemployable; so doomed to abject poverty for my remaining years.Costs matter, but anti-insurance people ignore the costs that occur without health care for those of us not in the top 20% of wealth since we were ‘merely’ schoolteachers, Policemen, shopkeepers, etc. Costs to a society go far beyond dollars and cents.

Lucky I had good coverage from FEHBP. Now on Medicare, but keeping old plan as my wife is ONLY 59.Cuts down on income, but gives damn good coverage for both of us.

Here’s an idea: Reverse Mortgages on our bodies. Health corporations take good care of our bodies all our lives to ensure our corpses are in good condition for organ, skin, cornea, etc., transplants, and various chemicals and hormone secretions. There’d have to be an age cut-off, however. Who would want the organs of people 80-years-plus? (joking)
