That’s true even when it is not a political season. With the red machine, the house doesn’t even get the money, it all goes to Crazy Donald. With the blue machine, the country wins.
Your comment was not about issues, your comment was a silly list of words and you claiming Trump (if you didn’t count his personality) “has” the issues. But he doesn’t – you can make as many funny little lists as you like, and he still doesn’t have any plans or a platform. I would much rather 8 more years of a good president, than dragging us back to a time when a child was running the country, like when your favorite W was in charge.
I’m going to vote for Hillary. I voted for Mr. Obama, twice, and I’ve not regretted it, not even for a day. He did well, and if Hillary turns out to be half the president that he has been, she’ll still have reason to be proud.
As a white man with a good job and health care coverage, I suppose I had every reason to go with the other candidates. As a “redneck” born in Appalachia, I imagine I could be forgiven for sticking with my own. But in his time in the White House, Barack Obama has been a president for all Americans: Men and women, uniform and civilian, black, white and brown. He has demonstrated remarkable wisdom in the face of obtuseness, forbearance in the face of obduracy, and tolerance in the face of antipathy.
I remember the day Hillary Clinton started her Senate campaign in upstate New York. I was there. She was shaking hands with everyone, but when she got to my father, she stopped. She listened to what he had so say. He will never forget that, and neither will I.
My dear republicans, I think I know what you care about. One thing that I think you believe in hard work and personal responsibility. Some of you hate the idea of abortion, which I also understand. The other day, I mentioned this to an African-American friend and coworker. When I mentioned “personal responsibility” to her, she said "I agree with that !’. My friend is college-educated, a hardworking woman and a devout christian. She would probably make a fine republican. The problem is, you have made common cause with, or at least tolerated, the xenophobes and racists among you for too long now.
I’m pretty sure Trump is going to lose. And he might bring the republican party down with him. It’s too bad, really, because sometimes, conservatives have been right.
I’m truly sorry for my patronizing tone, but it’s really unavoidable.

That’s because you’re the kind of utter and complete moron who thinks he can make himself sound smart by saying “Oooooh, they’re both the same.”
