They are complementary: for Andy, the important thing is not the taking part, but the winning.

Andy should talk. Does he know a single answer to anything except the names of beer brands?

I’m one of the few people who like the “Quiz Nights” in the Andy Capp strips.

But I’m in the majority of those who don’t think much of Guitar Bob! But the real question is: Would Reg Smythe have approved of Guitar Bob? After all he liked the idea of Andy having a son.

With friends like Andy, Chalkie doesn’t need any enemies!

SpellCheck catches most of my typos. Plus if I “Control” click with both cursors on the wavy red underlined word, I get a short list of suggestions as to what the word could be.

Andy’s has the same philosophy as Henry Russell Sanders, UCLA Bruins football coach 1949-1957: “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing.”
