He’s in a hurry to leave, yet still has time for another selfie-shot.

Yeah, I’m just stuffing all this loot I raised for Bellowthon into a bag to take to the bank. Riiiight.

TRACY: Mr. Narcisse….did you notice anything unusual?

SELFIE: …the news of her passing is shocking.

TRACY: Who said anything about her being dead? You’re under arrest!

Now look at the pictures in his smartphone. Ten to one he took a picture with the corpse.

News travels fast, it’s not much of a stretch that Narcisse would have heard.

There’s almost certainly evidence of something in his photo collection.

Still not 100% convinced Bellowthon’s death wasn’t a happy accident.

Narcisse is definitely guilty of embezzlement, possibly assault upon Coffee Grounds, and there is a potential motive in play, but I’m waiting on the coroner’s report.

Regarding the Comics Quiz question above: If true, they must have done one heckuva makeup job on Chester Gould… seeing that he died five years before.

I don’t think Tracy and Sam have the legal right to search Selfy’s phone, but they could ask him permission to look at his photos.

“No, I’m sad to say….” That triggers a deep question IMHO. But I think you guys nailed it.

So how does Selfy know about Bellowthon’s passing???

I suppose it is possible that news of Bellowthon’s death has leaked out and that Selfy might have read it on his cellphone, but absent corroboration of that, I think he just incriminated himself. Even if he is arrested now, however, this caper isn’t over. Selfy is just the mechanic; Tracy needs to dig deeper to see what further evil lurks….

The news of Bellowthon’s death would break rather quickly. Once the crime scene was properly secured and documented (we saw Sam taking photographs), the Coroner’s office became involved. News hit the “wires” as Tracy spoke with Mysta. Selfy sees little but himself on his device, but could well have read the news today (oh boy). And, as others have noted, he knows she is dead because he killed her.

I’m still concerned there’s going on to be a ton of media blowback against Mysta. They’ll go crazy with speculations if they find out she was the last person known to have been with Bellowthon before the latter was discovered dead in her office a short time later.

Has anyone taken the Beta Bait, and if so what are its features like ?

Selfy is saying the right things, but there’s no doubt he’s the killer. I don’t think Tracy and Sam have anything to go on yet, though. I wonder if they’ll ask Selfy to come in for questioning.

…..just don’t think this story is going to be that simple…..they arrest him; it’s over. Next Monday is Halloween….will we see a fade to Abner climbing out of the water, lol?

Is it just me, or does needing to sign up with a new account to test the GoComics beta software – in this particular instance – feel like a massive bait-and-switch?
