I said so… Selfy is going to take swimming lessons.

If the bridge is a draw span. Possibly they can call ahead and have it raised. Thereby by creating a blockage.

Selfie keeps on charging towards doom……..

Selfy’s not worried about getting arrested here. His main concern is that nobody takes his picture but him. Maybe he’s worried that pictures taken by the cops would be unflattering and he just can’t have that!

Do the two flashing lights at the bottom of the Narrows Bridge sign indicate anything?

Police mugshots do tend to be unflattering to the subject—in some cases there’s even been accusations of deliberately lighting the suspect to make them look more criminal.

Although it makes for a nice dramatic scene, Tracy’s pose in the last panel is supposed to be unsafe. I have read that people should never brace themselves against the dash board in a speeding car, because in the event of a crash, arms are easily broken in that position!

I notice that the sign also says “Exit only”. Could it be one-way in the wrong direction?

Narrows narrow Selfie’s options.

Ooh! Are we gonna get an old-school “villain dies horribly” Dick Tracy strip?

Selfy may get caught up in traffic (especially if this Narrows Bridge is like the NY Verrazano Narrows Bridge, a toll bridge, requiring cash or an electronic pass card). Although Tracyville is like Chicago much of the time and in many ways, this bridge reference seems to fit NYC better than the bridges over the Chicago River. But in either case, the bridge is likely to impede Selfy’s attempt to flee a dreaded non-selfie photo!

Maybe I’m the only one, but I see this as only the start of Selfy as a villain, maybe continuing on to be an angry, bitter character who is trying to get revenge for his disfigured face, sort of a Phantom of the Opera thing.

I think that we will see a very nasty crash.
