Sam is chilled down to the bone

Hands too cold to use his phone.

Smith’s cigar begins to freeze

Old tycoon fears he may sneeze.

Mysta shrugs off charges pressed

Thinks of Honey. Who’d have guessed?

Thinking not of her own life

Wishing to spare Honey strife.

Stop the bill of vile hate

Intolerance with dread as bait.

Tracy looks into her eyes

Heart so big it’s twice the size

Of those who hate and judge and fear

Obscenely laugh and mock and sneer.

Lovely Mysta pleads her case

She hoped that Bellowthon felt disgraced

While Tracy pondered if her words rang true

Sam just shivered like a nervous fool

Diet puffed on his cancer log

Ignoring laws about nicotine smog

Is Mysta being honest we’d like to think so

But can anyone say for sure that wicked Mindy doesn’t know

From birth until recently just who she used to be

Her amnesia seemed to pop up just a wee bit conveniently

For all we know she remembers all and is playing us all for fools

Hopefully Dick can discover the truth he certainly has got all the tools.

Good morning fellow DT fans!

Sam wishes he was wearing Tracy’s coat! The closeup of Mysta’s eye is fun, too.

“Press charges?” Uh oh.

Mysta doesn’t know Bellowthon is dead, and this makes me think there was no attack. She also seems more concerned about Honeymoon than herself. She is a righteous, lovely person.

Sam doesn’t look like he’s remotely interested in using his phone at the moment and diet’s cancer log seems to be going strong, unfortunetly.

I was out all day today except for a few minutes when I was trying to figure out why my computer has been crashing lately. There were some comments on yesterday’s strip that I’d like to reply to, but I’ll have to do it later today.

And now who is the person who is most likely to have killed Bellowthon. If only DT looked at Selfy more closely after the Coffee attack, then Bellowthon must still be spreading some hate today.

Still thinking that Bellowthon was somehow hoist by her own self-serving, political petard, mostly ’cause Narcisse seems too obvious a suspect.

I for one would like to see Diet Smith throw his hands up and grin from ear to ear like Gould use to portray him. Course there hasn’t been any reason for him at all in this strip. Great story . I’m lovin’ it

Mindy, her innocence is surely not feigned

Sam has the shivers—-a chill on the brain

Diet’s visage looks mighty skeptical

And Mindy’s horns are flashing electrical

Tracy prepares, the question to ask

His goal is surely to put Mindy to task

But Mindy knows not what yet is to come

For she doesn’t know, that Bellowthon indeed is done

Tracy’s not fooled—-not for a minute

Its only procedure, he knows perpetrated she didn’t

Mindy is clueless, has yet to be told

Bellowthoin will never, over her head that bill hold

But who killed Bellowthon, and left her to lie?

My guess is it’s that smug Selfy guy

The funny thing is, the December solicitations for IDW (Tracy’s publisher) came out last month and Tracy wasn’t listed then. I skipped looking at IDW’s solicitations until now to see if Tracy would be in the January solicitations, so I don’t know when it became listed on Dec 28 (and now I don’t care what’s coming from IDW in January).

Mysta’s Eye is on us….She does not know. Innocent Angel!!

Yep, that’s mysta all right. I’ve said I gained a lot of respect for her. Now it grows more.

Excellent strip, gentlemen

I’m enjoying this story so much. Mysta is a mysterious and beautiful character. The suggestions that she’s wicked and all that, I simply can’t see. Like others have said, what I see in her is passion, love, selflessness, courage, and joyfulness, all tied up in an exceptionally attractive package. What a delightful and intoxicating person she has become. Whatever she was in the past is gone. Now she is pure loveliness. I can’t think for a second she had anything to do with Bellowthon’s death, and I agree it is a near certainty that Selfy is to blame.

Mysta guilty of killing Bellowthon? Nah. She doesn’t even know she’s dead. It doesn’t fit with the kind of person she is now, either.

I like the closeup of Mysta’s eye. It’s an interesting panel and shows us how different moon eyes really are. It’s funny, I didn’t always like the original Moon Maid’s eyes. Gould made them too big for her face sometimes. Joe Staton has made them just right. They’re one of Mysta’s best features, among many others.

I like Mysta’s snow room. She is a cool dame, lol! Poor Sam doesn’t seem to care for the accommodations.

Selfy seems like the only suspect (besides Mysta, of course) but we have yet to see a motive. We know he’s violent, but not what would have set him off.

here’s a weird thought that just popped into my head…. could “the eye” be an ominous forshadowing to.. FRANKENMINDY’S DEMISE?!?!?"

before you ridicule, consider this…. the last we saw of MARION CRANE was a close-up of her eye as well.

Apparently I haven’t been paying close attention to the strip the past few years! LOL! I have no doubt Selfy is the murderer and Mysta had nothing to do with it. I simply won’t pant over her as certain others do. Just because she’s sexy doesn’t mean she’s as innocent as some believe. Maybe living in NYC my whole life instead of hillbilly land has made me too untrusting.

Someone very important in my life, my Pastor passed away last night from cancer. Ironically he never smoked a day in his life

Two “suspects”…..we know Selfie is the guilty party early on, so I’m guessing there is going to be some unexpected angle to this story to keep it going……maybe he’ll hook up with Bribery or something…….

In my judgment Mysta is telling the truth as she knows it. In other words, I believe she did not kill Bellowthon, just as I believe that Selfy did kill her. Now, can we all come in from the cold? This isn’t a spy-novel, and I’m worried for Sam’s well-being….
