As ancestrally part Scandinavian that I am, first aid with onion seems pretty ludicrous.

Why bother with onion soup? If you can smell bile, you know it’s serious.

uh…FLESH colored?…..I would think that they come in different colors.

Crayola had problems with this with their ‘flesh colored’ crayon that was later changed to ‘peach’

I see our viking friend is wearing his Hermes helmet today. Must’ve run out of his other horned helmet.

I already have a couch that smells like human skin…perhaps I’m spending too much time there?

The couch smells like human skin, but the bowl smells like cat hair

Do you keep the furniture clean with Saddle Soap or with Lifebouy B.O. … … …

In the 17th century, apparently, a good poultice to ward off infection in wounds was a poultice of honey and cooked onions…

The first time I read about this was on Michael Crichton’s Eaters of the Dead a.k.a. The 13th Warrior.

Hope the furniture comes with a selection of appropriate deodorants.

To avoid sticking to the couch, I use towels. Much easier to keep clean on a regular basis with all the other laundry.

Wings on a helmet were for the god Mercury, I think.

I don’t like it when Vikings are close to death in my comics. :(

The correct term is “mortal”, not “fatal”. A fatal wound kills you immediately, while a mortal one is a wound that kills you, just not instantly.
