The GOP are the ones generating the smoke, so that’s a bit inaccurate. It’s true that there is no fire. There’s an interesting comparison at Vox.com between the “scandal” over the Clinton Foundation and the complete non-scandal around the Colin Powell Foundation. No one cared when Colin Powell as SoS met with people who had donated to his foundation, because he didn’t have the right-wing smear machine working on digging up non-existent dirt.
Look at how much good Gates, Buffet, or Clinton Foundation have done around the world. Compare the ACTUAL reports of their expenditures on actual work, rather than “fundraising”, and you’ll find these givers do very well.
I was disappointed at the “Wounded Warriors” problem, and distressed years ago when Elizabeth Dole took over at Red Cross, raised her salary exponentially, and demanded we CHARGE PEOPLE to give them CPR and First Aid training, no exceptions.
Yes there needs to be clear separation, but not destruction of those charities that actually make the world a better, and safer, place.
Here. Took me 20 seconds to find, so I wouldn’t expect a rightwinger to be able to find it at all. Question is, can you find someone to read it to you?https://www.charitywatch.org/ratings-and-metrics/bill-hillary-chelsea-clinton-foundation/478

Where are all the demos? Surely they have something to say. Speechless all of a sudden?

Except it’s not really smoke; it’s vapors from the dry ice that the GOP has put everywhere.

The GOP knows about those mirrors the same way Johnny Appleseed knew about apple trees, and for pretty much the same reasons.
