Love these one sided arguments. Anyone who thinks this problem is Hama’s fault is delusional.

When Hitler invaded Poland and France, the fault was solely with the Polish and French?

Trout, that’s a strawman and you know it.

“In 1896 the Hungarian Theodor Herzl founded the movement known as Zionism, promoting the creation of an independent Jewish state in Palestine…despite the fact that the region had been settled for centuries by Arabs.”

Civilization Past and Present Volume two Ninth Edition

The first volume discusses the roots of Palestine (also marred with war) but I can’t seem to find it. Its been a long time since I used both books. Hamas wasn’t even in the picture at the time. That’s my point. You have to understand the history in order to figure out that both sides have been at this for a hundred + years.

Not solely, no. But are you seriously telling me they have no responsibility in the entire mess whatsoever?

When the Hebrews crossed from Egypt, they started killing everyone in their way, and taking the land. When they got thrown out (basically, some remained) it was called diaspora, and they formed close social ties as they weren’t allowed to own land in many countries. Around the turn of the 20th century, they determined to return and occupy that land they hadn’t controlled for nearly two MILLENNIA! They were indeed granted land for a “homeland”, by folks who really didn’t own or occupy the land themselves. Now they continue to take MORE land than they were granted by the U.N.

When someone takes over your house, or bulldozes it, burns your crops, destroys your orchards, and puts a wall between your house and business, that you’re no longer allowed to run, and survive– tell us all how good you feel.

History proves the oppressed become the worst oppressors.

Gee, sounds like when the Pilgrims came to America and killed the Indians and took the land.

I never said that. I said its unfair to just blame the guys who wear the rags on their heads. Like Trout said earlier the guys with the yamakas took their land by force. There’s plenty of blame to go around. To just single out one side for years of fighting is wrong.
