And the “emotion” component of right-wing politics has displaced all observation, let alone acceptance, of rational thought or analysis.
Let’s see, Obama took us into Afghanistan and Iraq, ran “Iran/Contra”, burgled the Watergate, and personally shipped all of Saddam’s WMDs to Lithuania so we couldn’t find them.
Curious where you get your numbers from. See fivethirtyeight. Current numbers show a Republican House and a Democratic Senate down from 59 sets to 51 seats.
^ fenenc I repeat I would like to see the polls he quotes.
Are you not the least bit concerned that there is a slight possibility that the Republicans may gain seats this November?
BTW, it on another new toon today 4 regular posters proudly called themselves “socialists”. They only vote Democratic because the US does not have a socialist party. Since you say you don’t agree with them how about joining me and not voting for either the Democratic or the Republican candidate. When people say well if you think Obama is so terrible how do you think McCain would have been i can proudly say i voted against both of them
I guess you are right. I threw out my vote in November 2008 and look what it got me.
I wanted Guantanamo to be closed, I wanted the Afghanistan War to end, I wanted lower unemployment, a better economy and by throwing out my vote I didn’t get any of those things.
