Another quarterback story?

I guess since this is a strip for teens, Kevin Pelwecki has to hold the ball up to strategically hide the naked kid on the beach.

I used to come to the beach and bullies would kick sand in my face. Then I took a chance and wasted a stamp on an ad from a comic book. Now I bring a football to the beach and pretend to be a Milford quarterback. No one will make fun of me anymore (or will they?).

What are the lifeguard and the young lady in P2 looking at? An alien spacecraft? An out-of-control pickup truck? A rampaging wrestler with dementia? One of those new neighborhood libraries?

Can’t dismiss anyone with a mullett! FYI to the knuckleheads at the beach….school starts in 20 minutes in everywhere but Plesantville!

We were introduced to K.P. when Barry Bader disappeared into a corner. After filling in adequately for Young Master as a 2nd bagger, he now leads the ’Larks on the gridiron? Pelwecki is the conduit that connected Too Good to be True and Young Bader. Just give me the damn ball.- Max Ortiz.

Pelwecki seems to have a little Bader in him. Sure hope Young Master Bader isn’t his competition. He couldn’t “beat” him out at second.

I had a thought as I was falling asleep last night. Wouldn’t those Boomorials make fine peacock nesting boxes? Just sayin’.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a football with 2 sets of laces. Pelwecki must have got it at the outlet store.

Back on August 12th, KP was a blonde and his hair was a lot shorter.

There are Rawlings Footballs, Wilson Footballs, and in Milford, Sub-Standard Footballs. The salesman told Pelwecki tow sets of laces made the ball ambidextrous. (oh, the politically incorrect humor!)

I used to go to the beach and have a 240 pound bully kick sand in my face. So I signed up with the Charles Atles program and became 260 pounds strong. So I went to the beach and a 520 pound bully kicked sand in my face………..

I don’t think that football looks properly inflated.

What’s with the up-the-nose shots in this strip?

I’m a little late to the party, but I’m surprised more wasn’t made yesterday with Gil with one of the kids. Using facial recognition, I was able to determine that this, indeed was Gil’s kid. I’m also a little taken aback that Mimi openly is drinking lemonade with Pedro. He is literally sitting there in the backyard, open to all the neighbors, drinking Gil’s lemonade. Wow! (I guess it’s not a secret anymore?)

@Ellisburkes: as Zippy the Clown used to say – Boogery on down the road. I believe Boogery is against Naval regulations in the UK.

This kid’s stray hairs on his face are already driving me crazy. I think it was Amy of root beer fame who last suffered from this condition.
