Right on. Nobody really addresses the countries issues and problems. The press and candidates keeps everybody focused on BS that won’t matter after the election. The news media has totally degenerated into a scandal sheet or show.
That could say “Reader Trust” and be as accurate. The Press has dropped the ball so many times to try and keep Trump from looking bad that they’re writing themselves out of having much credibility at all.
Or better, actual policy. Just keep asking him, “How are you going to get there?”I heard a clip from months ago on how to deport 11 million people:“You just do it. You do it.”
Why should voters trust? What campaign promises have been met in the last 50 years? What leaders have pushed us forward in a way that advances us all as a human race? You have to earn trust, and this is a 4 – 8 year position, by the time they are ready to leave, have they done as they promised? Who has done this? None of them, because they aren’t in it alone. They have to work through the politics of a representative democracy, which means, we have to trust more than just the President, we have to trust the Congress, the Senate, the Supreme Court and each other. I hope in the next days while you make your funny jokes about Clinton, you remember that you are helping to erode this trust. It is not only the lies being told by the candidate, it is the lies and misdirections of the media that lead to this distrust. We could easily know the truth about Trump’s positions and Clinton’s scandals, we have just created a system where we don’t have to do so.

Thanks to the Clintons always living on the knifes edge of right and wrong.
The republicans didn’t turn their back on the country. The republicans are trying to turn back the misguided and harmful changes Obama pushed through.
