I think he’s momentarily stunned. Years ago my cat Stormee fell into the shower because she was jumping at patterns on the shower curtain. She landed at my boyfriend’s feet and froze. He picked her up to toss her out of the shower and she suddenly went into buzz saw mode about the level of his thighs….High pitched male scream then soaking wet cat tearing through the living room. Interesting times…
