I would think that Georgia has serialised the original strip(s) to run over several days. As the readers who have never seen the original web-based comic get introduced to BCN we are going to see several (most?) of the early (and hopefully later) strips serialised in this manner interspersed with new material and along a (slightly) different Timeline.
This serialisation is something we are going to have to get used to, as she converts the BCN stories to the Newspaper format, only seeing part of a larger “Story Strip” each day.
I believe us Old Guard are going to get a lot of “Opening Teaser” strips like this where we immediately recognise (and remember) the Story Strip it comes from. To the New Guard, it’s a whole new experience! We are going to have to be careful about accidently giving away too many ‘Spoilers’ in the comments for a while. It’s going to be tough as we remember the punchlines and payoff’s to the Story Strips!
I’ve donated several bags of expensive “gourmet” cat food and treats to the local shelter, since Mr. Fussy won’t touch anything except his pre-furred mix of two different brands!
Oddly enough, cats and dogs are not color blind exactly. They just see some colors. A lot of brown and blue/green. Red looks like brown. But yeah, they do know the difference by smell. And no, you cannot fool them. Like finicky fur kids.
I just finally got my BCN Hardcover book, and while I’m happy to have it, I also noticed that it stops WAY early. Is there a sequel in the works? Georgia? I would LOVE to get my hands on all those amazing strips you did over the last year. Or do we have to wait until all of them have appeared in the newspaper column?

Won’t give away the rest of this sequence, except to say it’s FUNNY and TRUE!

Aww! But it’s “Happy Cat”! I guess it didn’t live up to its name. Can’t pull the wool over these feline eyes.

This sequence is really funny and should be in newspapers for the new readers. Georgia’s original material is hilarious and should be seen by all!

Also, I assume that even if they don’t see yellow as yellow, they would see it as a different shade of brown.

I love the way the cats’ ears are twisting around.

I thought cats could only see a few colours?

I miss the water-color look of the original strips, but am SO glad Georgia has been able to continue I’m NOT complaining!
