The media ignored this at first as well, but what are we to do when this type event becomes the norm due to climate change that we won’t do anything about. The election and Olympics are both going on now, it would have to be something new to break this news cycle. And until they made it political, this story did not cut it. I think this is too bad, weather disasters will be like mass shootings, we will become so used to it, it will be pushed to page five news. Meanwhile, we can continue sniping about nonsense.
Amazing that the GOP could not come up with a better venue for the Trump to show how well he can participate in the unloading of a truck. Also have to wonder how much the taxpayer is paying for this dumping of a (likely) stale product as a tax write-off.
One more time, righties The Governor of Louisiana asked Obama, Hillary, and Trump NOT to come. You guys are supposed to be alllll about ’state’s rights’…but let your swaggering he-ro ignore a governor’s request, and that’s just okay, isn’t it?
Local Republicans have praised the response of FEMA & other Federal Agencies. Much like it was after Hurricane Sandy. It’s amazing what can be done, when you don’t believe government is always the problem & never part of the solution. Only the fools who listen to right wing “entertainers” worry about where Obama is while people put their lives back together.
Did the Trump/Pence photo op in Louisiana convince you to buy stock in Play Doh ?[ Seriously, who else but “classy” Trump would hand out Play Doh to flooding victims ? ]

Can’t say I got into the details on this one. Is the political party that brought us “Ketchup is a vegetable” now bringing us “Play doh is food”?

Giving out real dough wouldn’t build character. The GOP is HUGE on character building.

Does Trump deserve all this ridicule?
I mean, he already said that being in military boarding school was almost like having served in combat.
Now, he’s showing how handing out play-doh for five minutes is almost like doing charity work.
Yet another sacrifice Donald has done for others and no one appreciates it.
