Does anyone actually believe that Putin is so stupid he would openly back a candidate he liked? No, he would openly support the one running against the one he wanted in office. Hillary would guarantee that Putin would be ble to continue to use the (real) threat to Russia that America is to maintain power. But people like Nick Anderson and his fans are intellectually to short changed to recognize all that.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had kind words for his “stablemate” Donald Trump during an annual end-of-the-year Q&A session in Moscow.

“[Donald Trump is] a really brilliant and talented person, without any doubt,” [Vladimir] Putin told reporters, according to a translation by Interfax. “It’s not our job to judge his qualities, that’s a job for American voters, but he’s the absolute leader in the presidential race.”The GOP frontrunner has been blunt about his plans for defrosting U.S. relations with Russia should he be elected president.

“He says he wants to move on to a new, more substantial relationship, a deeper relationship with Russia, how can we not welcome that?” he said. “Of course we welcome that.”

The Justice Department and the FBI are conducting a wide-ranging investigation into allegations of corrupt dealings by the government of former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, including the hiring of Washington lobbyists for the regime by former Donald Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, a senior law enforcement official confirmed to Yahoo News.

The investigation, which was first reported by CNN, began two years ago after Yanukovych fled Kiev to Moscow and was replaced by the current government of Petro Poroshenko, the official said. But the inquiry has expanded in recent weeks in the wake of the discovery of documents showing $12.7 million in payments to Manafort by Yanukovych’s Party of Regions political party. Investigators are also looking into reports that Manafort recruited two top Washington lobbying firms to advocate on behalf of a Belgian nonprofit that investigators now believe may have served as a front for Yanukovych’s party. Neither of the firms, the Mercury Group and the Podesta Group, registered with the U.S. Justice Department as foreign agents — a requirement if they represented a foreign government or political party.

The enduring image of an uncomfortable Trump literally handing Play-Doh to Pence while flooding victims stared at him in confusion is already playing poorly across nearly all portions of the political media spectrum, apart from extremist site Breitbart, which is now officially running Donald Trump’s campaign as of this week. Trump may end up wishing he had heeded the Louisiana Governor’s warning and simply made a donation instead.

I think Bannon will be the last one.

He is evidently the “many people” who tell Trump stuff. As in Many people are saying that the Iranians killed the scientist who helped the U.S. because of Hillary Clinton’s hacked emails.

You know, some people say that was not his birth certificate

    etc

Guy Fawkes: Bolton is indeed a justly very hateable guy indeed! Crazy as a bedbug, or a Trump advisor.
