I have five extra wisdom teeth, and I didn’t get mentioned in Ripley’s. Not four, but nine.

Didn’t they use lamb’s blood because they thought a sheep’s cool disposition would help the patient?

French beer company Kronenbourg 1664 opened a bar in London, England staffed entirely by German Shepherds “Alsatians”. When, in 1664? They really need to give a means of reading more on this. Too little information.

Yeah, well if it wasn’t for America, those French bars would all be staffed by German Shep—

“The life of the flesh is in the blood.” — Leviticus 17:11William Harvey (1578-1657) is known for discovering the blood’s circulation in the body. And French anatomists earlier had made discoveries about venous valves. Information about blood transfusions traveled slowly in those centuries, since bloodletting was still practiced in the 1700s here in America.
