There would actually be a good opportunity for the Republicans to replace Trump if he quit as late as September. I think that there is a pretty solid chance that when he realizes he has no chance of winning his ego will require him to be able to say that he would have won, but he decided that the country didn’t deserve his wonderfulness. ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; If that did happen, the Republicans would choose someone else, who would legally be unable to get on the ballot in most states because it would be past the filing deadline, and the Democrats would sue if any state allowed a replacement against their own rules. But judges have historically decided in favor of allowing the replacement in similar circumstances. Which would all be just fine, if the Republicans just had any candidate that had a chance of winning.
Policy-wise, Pence is actually a worse person. If he got in on the strength of not actually shrieking and flinging, it would be pretty bad for the country.

And besides, none of his policies differ from those of the Republican party.
Except maybe that Ukraine/Crimea part that he had ‘nothing to do with’.

Wishful thinking. Then Ryan and McConnell would have to go back on their words.

If the Trump gets out… you really think “his” choice of the Pence will go over well with the country? I think not!
