We went through that too. The CEO ran us into bankruptcy, used the reorg to cheat the employees on what they were owed, because the reorg’d company was considered a new entity so previous obligations didn’t apply. The funny part is that when the Feds came after him, he tried to hide behind his contract entitling him to company paid legal help and company responsibility for his fines. Sorry, we’re a new entity, those obligations no longer apply :-).
America is currently losing 30,000 small business’s a year. American worker productivity has almost doubled since the corporate bailouts of 2008, wages have remained stagnant while corporate profits expanded.
