Check:Right remote? Set for TV? Batteries ok?TV plugged in?Fuse ok?Does anything else plugged in work?Is the whole street/city/county in the dark?

Around here it’s either the remote or the phone. Both are similar sized but one gets the TV real wonky when you try and make a call with it.
