Oh, how I love this season…lightning bugs and each other
LOVE YOU, DEAREST RED & ROVER
They were so thick in the back yard all you had to do was run through the yard and you’d have a dozen all over your front.
Yawned once while riding my bicycle – swallowed one – practically inhaled it. Too far back in the throat to do anything but swallow.
oh my i used to so love playing with them. here in Florida we do not have them and my kids missed out on some great fun.
Rover is anxious for a “light” snack…
Gorgeous.
Even more spectacular was when a gecko on the window ate a lightning bug, and the insect was flashing inside the lizard’s stomach for over half a minute.
