never commented a strip before…but I got to say..I am so loving this strip right now. Puck’s ingenuity, Beatrix’s resourcefulness and Baba’s surprise are Priceless!

It’s moments like this where you have to ask, is it bravery or stupidity that causes no fear. The mightiest prey. Never thought I’d hear that one. Great story line and yep kittens don’t understand danger.

In Beatrix’s case, it’s neither. She’s just a baby.

OMC, wonderful Georgia!! Agnes gets her own mini mice mic, & I just love Natasha with her arms spread out “I fear no predator” she’s becoming my fave robber mouse. also love how you painted Wicket’s panel, not sure how you did it but it’s a wonderful effect. Elvis’ anxiety level just shot through the roof! Not sure about Beatrix’s signature though, any thoughts anyone??

Yes, how DID you get that spectacular background effect?? Your perspectives are always spectacular.

Also, now we need a new addition to “Meet Our Reporters”!!!!

Georgia, i just realized that something.. you were able to make me feel 8 emotions in 5 mins..

Excitement- that there was a new BCN strip today

Awed- by Trevor’s thoughtfulness and foresight

Apprehensive -by the owl heading for Agatha

Elated- by Puck’s idea and Beatrix ‘s actions and Baba’ reaction

Eagerness- for the next installment

Astonishment – as I re-read the whole thing, amazed at the storyline, character emotions and your attention to the smallest details in each scene

…and finally Admiration and Grateful- to YOU, Georgia, for what you do, the way you do it and that you unselfishly choose to share it with us …thank you.

p.s….i also feel Accomplished, because I am a very, very slow typer and it took a hour for me to type this.. so really 9 emotions :)

We should all be grateful to Georgia for posting this today. According to BCN website, she’s doing a book signing at ComicCon in San Diego tomorrow! I imagine she is frantically busy right now.

Natasha, the gutsiest mouse around! The tiny mini mic for Agnes is just right and what is Violet going to do in the tree? Natasha really looks ghostly with her red makeup. The excitement builds!

Oh my cat-only Bea could scamper on all fours with a microphone in her paw ! Poor Baba mouse-Kitten custody at her age-not for the faint of heart. Love the perfectly sized little microphone for Agnes. My favorite panels, though, are the first-Lupin gushing that everyone is glued to their coverage, and Elvis candidly adding that no one could go outside anyway and the third, Lupin kindly offering Agnes an on camera gig, and the crawl explaining they could use a reporter who fits under doors.

Ok, just re read and maybe realized-Is Puck just putting it all together, (as am I) that the fireworks=moment of chaos ? I am a little slow on the uptake today-could not sort out why he excitedly interjected there until now. Coffee kicking in…..

Call me a coward but I’m not a big fan of these scary story lines. I’ve known too many people who’ve been careless with their kitties and lost them.

Plus, my kitty soul mate’s name was Beatrice.

Wow, this is wonderful!! So many amazing touches, as always! (And I love the blurry/sharp focus effect you did. Clever way to get that kind of depth of field with watercolors.)

I love Natasha’s lines “I fear no predator” and “I am the mightiest prey” They suggest she’s absolutely terrified and is building up her courage. That’s true heroism.

The “I am the mightiest prey” panel would make a pretty awesome poster. Just saying.

Less than twelve hours until the next installment. It’s hard to wait!!! Incidentally. Georgia said on her website this is the last serial for a while as she’s switching to the new format.
