We will have America adopt the “broken window” theory of policing. Any minor disorder or violation would create a permissive atmosphere which leads to further and more serious crime that will threaten the safety of America. If this is applied equally to everyone, there may be some resistance at first, but it won’t last long.
Giuliani’s career reputation was saved by his actions during 9-11. If that hadn’t occurred on his watch he would have gone down in history as another hack mayor.
