Hundreds of millions of people in dozens of countries around the world manage to get through police/civilian interaction with minimal to zero deaths. Time to learn from them.
The legal principle that law should govern a nation as been ambushed. Soon we will be governed by arbitrary decisions of individual government officials.
The Rule of Law was ambushed when cops began executing people on the spot. Merely not following an order was is now grounds for being killed. ,,,,and the stupid cops wonder why people are beginning to shoot first?
Bad cops, bad citizens, and bad media, are equally to blame, as are bad judges, politicians, ignorance or indifference.
The first minutes of the Rodney King tape showed him get up after being tased, grab an officer by the neck, lift him off the ground, and strangle him. At THAT point, the other officers didn’t shoot him, but started using nightsticks, and yes, did get carried away and went to far, after King tried to KILL AN OFFICER! Those first minutes only played a couple of times, but the “beating” repeated constantly, and still does. That prejudice led to rioting and the deaths of over 70 people. KIng even said, “Why can’t we all get along?”
Pretty well sums up the issue, and repeated by a 15 year old son of a man killed years later as a result of “poor judgement”. Why can’t we all get along?
Stare decisis doctrine allows bad laws to persist too long, just as politicized courts make decisions that do not serve everyone.We need apolitical courts from top to bottom, and a way to quickly remove dysfunctional representatives. We need representatives that represent the people as a whole NOT a political ideology that serves an ever decreasing minority.

O even invited the professor to the White House as a guest, the “Beer Summit.”-Obama has been trigger-happy to blame police in any news of shootings, before any facts have been uncovered!-Obama is protecting Hate groups such as Black Lives Matter, that are demanding Blacks be privileged and “above the law.”The news has reported the 3rd policeman acquitted in the death of a resisting suspect; 3 trials, evidence…“not guilty.”-BLM and other radicals march in public yelling for “Kill the Pigs” and “What do we want, and When do we want it? Dead Cops”!-Of course the street scofflaws take the Attitude from the Obama and Dept. of Injustice, and of course police are targets of Ambush!-The next president, if GOP Trump, will begin January 2017 to restore the Attitude of “Law and Order” …. by enforcing laws on the books. All PDs have rules for shootings by cops on duty, usually temporary desk duty until an internal investigation finds the facts. All PDs have the responsibility of handing a policeman over to the DA to be prosecuted, if evidence warrants such a decision. Even then, a policeman is entitled to trial and defense and a jury or judge ruling.-The public needs to wait and see what the facts are in each case. Any action by the public, before a legal ruling, is scofflaw action and open to law enforcement of law.

Quantitative analysts, not politicians should be designing truly neutral courts. My analogy to carbon steel is appropriate: carbon is too brittle and iron is to soft, but an alloy is strong and hard and has a relatively small useful range:
