Six months and he’s only going to visit Ohio?!? Maybe Andre is right.

Do hipsters use rubber bands? I doubt it. Probably a leather thong.

Kids! Write a comic book about what happened to the old Mr. Spinnerack! You can fill it with lots of action and explosions, or pink unicorns and flying fairies, or … lots of exposition and maybe a few zombie frogs…

2 panels and 4 1/2 different sets of eyes! (Unless you think André in P2 has borrowed Emilio’s from P1)

Historic cartoon sites in Ohio are very real, at least sort of. There are the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum (where Richard had his retrospective in 2014) at OSU, and the Popular Culture Library at Bowling Green State University, and the Cartoon Crossroads Columbus expo (October), and some historical reminders of Superman’s birth in Cleveland. So, Andre’s fears for the real Mr. Spinnerack may be excessive.—You know, like the number of rubber bands Loris uses in her hair….

Seems to me Milton Caniff has been mentioned in my wife’s OSU alumni mags a few times, although Colorado (Idah Springs?) got thecstatue of Steve Canyon.
