Hey Andy? Did you know there’s a book where a self-serving egomaniac convinces himself the entire world is corrupt and he kills every living thing on earth save for one family? And another time when he lets a man be tortured, his family killed, and his entire livelihood destroyed because of a bet?

And yet you probably get happy when Jason reads that book.

I think she means why Diddy Kong isn’t wearing pants.

I was in a store once, where I ended up talking to a mother who was lamenting how violent GTA was. “My son really wanted it, so I got it for him. I had NO idea!” I asked her if she didn’t see the big, honkin’ rating on the box. “Oh, I don’t pay attention to that.” eyeroll

so, andy is concerned about video games. How does she feel about books? what if, paige starts reading 50 shades? what if, jason reads harry potter (some people think it promotes witchcraft)? what if, peter reads american psycho? what if, roger reads elmer gantry? And, in your reasoning, donald duck, bugs bunny, and michaelango’s david should be censored.

Let’s hope that Jason doesn’t find the copy of 50 Shades of Gray you keep under your pillow, Andy.

Why anyone thinks a game with the phrase “Grand Theft” in its title is appropriate to play is beyond me. . .

I used to war parents buying that game about the M-Rating and why it was there. Most of them bought it anyway.

I’m still shocked that parents in this country only seem to be concerned with sexual content in games but not so much about intense violence. Also that infamous GTA patch was only possible on the PC version of the game, it wouldn’t have been possible to do it on an unmodified console. Also…come on, even when this comic was first released Donkey Kong would have been around for over 20 years, she should know what he looks like.

Ms. Pac Man doesn’t wear pants either.
