    But we may want to note where the vast majority of the customers for those drugs are located. And we might want to also note where the majority of the weapons used by those drug cartels are coming from, too.

    Simple fact, no market north of the border, no cartels making money. Decades of our “War on drugs”– has only resulted in a “hot war” between cartels, and cartels vs police.

    Maybe economic and social policy up here might be the problem, and the solution?

    33, you meant TEXAS, not Canada, right? “W”, Cheney, the Texas National Guard is like the underground railroad for draft dodgers. They talk a good game but “Remember the Alamo” has actually been interpreted as – “they got creamed so by all means RUN AWAY!! ”

    BTW, my best friend joined the Texas Guard when I was in ‘Nam, like a lot of Texans, he at least readily admits it was a way to dodge the draft, and get PAID for it!! BTW, the “American Eagle” as in bald, like the “Mexican” or golden, is in largest part a scavenger, like the vulture. Although they both can hunt, and the bald is mostly a fish “hunter”.
