Because it’s only hate and racism that makes people oppose globalism. It has nothing to do with wanting to take their national sovereignty back from an undemocratic bureaucracy.
Nationalism is not racist of hate filled, it just attracts hate filled racists like a Trump rally. Globalization has hit our middle class hard, and the wealthy are making more money than ever, we just don’t see it. Without laws to protect us, it just divides us so the elite and politicians can line their own pockets.
Nationalism is just the wolf in sheep’s clothing for many, but not all.Isn’t it interesting that the leaders of the Brexit movement are all resigning or refusing to run to replace Cameron now that they’ve “won?”
