Kaz is long overdue for his semi-annual visit to the Hair Cutterwich.

Ah yes, the McLaughlin years, where characters regularly stand at 45 degree angles and Gil looks like the love child of Caitlyn Jenner and Frankenstein:

It looks like Ken Brown is about to make a change up happen with all four fingers wrapped around the ball.

C, Eb and G walk into a bar. The bartender says, “Sorry but we don’t serve minors …”

Young Master Bader has the same death grip on that baseball as he uses on Little Barry in P1.

Let’s see, July 20th and Milford is practicing for their 4th game. Tru(e) must have left for Wake Forest by now. and while we’re talking about leaving, since Big Ken Brown makes it all happen in every sport, where is he going to college?

Some adversity will rear its ugly head in the 4th/last game of the season, the team will come together and all this legalese will be transferred to Judge Wapner’s court. Everyone will hug, hold hands and sing altogether now…..

In all reality , does anyone care about the Baders, Milford baseball or even the missing pickup and it’s driver ?

Thanks Bitsy for suppling us with an alternative to goof on.

Time to bring this storyline full circle for the final game. Tru(e) can see a peacock he thinks is Boo. Barry can get a new tattoo in an awkward spot and start a new kind of tat slap. The softball team can jump on the field and do a flash dance when there’s a wardrobe malfunction. And, Gil can do a charity wrestling exhibition with the cow judge to raise scholarship money for the Milford Country Club.

@Bitsy: P-2- It looks like Mimi had her mouth surgically widened. Is Gil the only man in the world who likes “Big Mouths”?

And in panel three that Gil looks like Lurch. Even has Thing walking off with him.

Can we all agree that the “classic Gil” strip above definitively illustrates (ha) that despite how much we like to pick Whigham’s art apart, his rendering of the strip is a big step up from his predecessor’s? (Frank McLaughlin 2000-2008).

This story better not fizzle out with all touchy-feely crap. If there is no brawl or incredibly stupid action on Bader’s part I’m not going to like it. But speaking of liking it, you are going to like today’s Mopped Up Thorp. Maybe.

As usual MUT made me notice something. Except for the freckles Bader looks like Ian Kinsler in panel one.
