As long as the elected official doesn’t actually promise you anything, you can give them all the money you want. If they happen to help your business, well that’s just good for the country. If your business grows up to be big enough, one day it will even have a vote through Citizen’s United. One day we won’t even need the little people anymore.
Where’s the sniff test? If it smells like corruption, it probably is. Geez, if you’re smart enough to be on the Supreme Court does that mean common sense is too difficult?

Little wonder the people are disgusted. Loopholes, used by the rich to evade justice while the poor and minorities pay the price.
