How much postage did Isabel’s letter cost her?

At that age, he shouldn’t be making plans for dinner.

I don’t know how they count the lion kills…but I think that number would be including the females.

They hunt cooperatively, and share.One lion can’t kill or consume a whole large beast.

Maybe the pride kills two a week but that only averages one or two a month per lion.

And yeah, they also scavenge, and steal prey from smaller beasts, like hyenas…so their own kill is only a percentage of their diets.

Old Barbers. My father-in-law has a problem with hair, no one touches it and when it gets cut he needs his special person. I was in McKinney Tx, the in-laws were living there, and I needed my hair cut, so I walked through the old downtown and there was a barber shop, right out of the 50s, at least, went in and the old guy started to work. After a few minutes I found out he was in the cavalry during the war. I was in the Canadian Forces so we both had something talk about. Went home and my father-in-law was horrified I went there, when I told him about the barber, and it only cost $3 (this was probably 2000, 2001) he was going to actually go into the shop.

“I love you THIIIIIIIISSSSS much!”

That barber lives in New Windsor, near my old hometown, Newburgh.

I’ll bet she wrote, “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. One one thousand! Two one thousand!” and so on.

Isabel’s boyfriend just finished the letter yesterday.

I’ll bet the postage was about what it costs to send a regular airmail letter today.

20 kills is one too many – if you are the 20th one!(Nothing bigger than a very rare bobcat in our area)(Coyotes are a worse nuisance)

UPDATE: Several weeks ago we had the story of the man in India with the gold shirt…… An Indian businessman who made headlines in 2013 for purchasing one of the world’s most expensive shirts made entirely of gold has been beaten to death in western India, according to a report Friday. Datta Phuge gained fame when he ordered a customised gold shirt worth 12.7 million rupees, around $240,000 dollars at the time. Police said Phuge, believed to be in his mid-40s, was attacked and killed by 12 assailants brandishing stones and sharp weapons on Thursday night after one of the suspects had invited him for a party, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI) news agency.

Lions and lionesses that control their tempers do in fact have more success that those that are wild; all the tantrums and roaring frightens their prey away.

Standing for hours every day is good for longevity.
