Random? The tat slap. The magic peacock. A one-armed golfer. Missing children. You mean there wasn’t some type of divine providence to all this? I suddenly feel like I’m in the old “Twin Peaks” TV series.
Tough day for Tru(e). Comic moment needed to help ease the tension. How about Steve Boone on the wrong side of the casket as a pall bearer? I know, just a memorial service, not a burial.
P1 – That guy seems a bit too happy to be sitting in the front row.P3 – Yeah, the girls went with the formal uniforms out of respect, the ones with actual sleeves. And that would be a nice plot twist, that Random character from the classic tat storyline was the driver of the pickup truck! Coming back to wreak havoc years after getting run out of town.
Rubin and Whigham think they can deter me by continuing with this depressing series of strips, but fear not, I still managed to do something semi-funny in today’s Mopped Up Thorp.
Panel one back row L-R : Mick, Brian, Keith, Bill and Charlie..I have seen a very early ‘pre-long hair’ era photo of them where they actually did look like this.

I hope those are the softball team’s dress uniforms.

Poignant moment when 60’s era Peter and Gordon step out of the background in P1 and do a stirring version of World Without Love.

That guy in the front row looks a lot like Del Bader. But then again, everyone kind of looks like everyone.

Ward Clever in the front row of P1. I see the house is too full for Gil and Mimi to bother to show.
P2, What if she hadn’t had that last milkshake? What if her mom had gone out and bought her own damn milk?
The girls must have a game right after this. Now we know why Mimi is nowhere to be seen

This is the perfect time to include an oldie but a goodie, BBJ, John Pascoe, to deliver a moment of silence.

For a tribute to Boo, this sure seems like all True is talking about is himself.

Coincidence that Boo’s funeral is today? “TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD” was first published on July 11th 1960.
