Mmm. Tea. What's tea made of? Boiled leaves. Hahahahahaha! I'm serious! What are we, elves? Can't we drink something that isn't from outside in the dirt?
A few questions for Eddie come to mind. What did you have in mind that doesn’t come from outside in the dirt? Pretty much everything comes from outside in the dirt.Where do you think water comes from? And don’t say “the faucet.”Beer? = water, grain & hops (outside in the dirt), & yeast (ubiquitous)Wine? = grapes (outside in the dirt) & yeast (again)Yes, I know he’s six. Obviously, in this case, I don’t comprehend how a 6 year old’s mind works.
Bob Newhart did a wonderful telephone routine in which he asked Sir Walter Raleigh why he had sent a shipload of dry leaves, ending with reference to a drink made from beans.
Black tea isn’t black, white tea isn’t white, but red tea is red. Oolong tea is yellow. I once read a true story about a family befriending an opossum until it chose to go live where no people were around. The opossum chewed on chamomile leaves one day, and the little boy was impressionable enough to try chewing some other chamomile leaves, too. His father took those leaves from him after he had chewed on them awhile, and brought them to his mother. He fully expected her to tell their son to quit watching what “Opie” did, but she told him, “Chamomile. That’s used in tea to induce relaxation.” So their son was influenced by “Opie” to start drinking chamomile tea while he was still a little boy. He liked it.

I love tea! You can try Kool-aid Eddie, if you don’t think about where the water or sugar comes from. :-)

I’m not sure I understand this one. The only teas I can think of is iced tea, green tea or the tan coloured tea.
This “tea” just looks like milk.
I must have to be American to understand it.
