True will echo Gil’s words from yesterday about overcoming anger because that’s what Boo would have wanted.

I feel for Mopman. This is going to be a rugged couple of strips to snark. (Not much feeling like snark myself.)

I’ve never gotten up to speak at a funeral. Don’t know that I could. This would be a tough challenge for a 17-18 yr. old.

P1, I’ll let you know as soon as you turn around.

P2, Tru has changed into a 60’s style pop band jacket and there appears to be an entire panel of dialogue missing since Art isn’t making much sense.

I hope this is a memorial service in P3 and not the funeral. It’s been nearly a month since Boo passed.

In all reality , P 3 the woman with the pony tail should remove it from the man sitting behind her shoulder .

I swear I read P3 as “dead friend” the first time.

P4- True opens up a large box of nerfballs, passes them to the mourners, exclaiming, “Boo would have wanted it this way.”

How long has it been she Boo was killed? We’re just getting to the funeral now? Was the family playing “Weekend at Bernie’s” with her? The only story arc lamer than this one has been the one where Mark Trail got stuck in a cave.

P-1: Every girl loves a sharp dressed manP-2: Does my Vulcan Death grip still work?P-3: Tru begins – A funny thing happened on the way over here..Question: Since Boo has to have already been buried, why is Tru speaking at this wedding?

Unless True is like Wally Cleaver, I have to think they got him that suit just for this funeral. Do high school boys own suits these days? And can they even tie a tie?

Well, speaking of tough subjects, today’s Mopped Up Thorp tries to put the fun back in fun-erals.

Will True sit down at a piano and perform a very special version of “Candle in the Wind” dedicated to Boo?

“Goodbye, Milford’s thorn…”

Will the next person to deliver a eulogy say, “I never actually met Addison Radley. Well, OK, I did once, but just briefly, when I rammed into her Jeep with my pickup. Anyway, i drive a hearse here at the funeral home, and so I just wanted to drop in at this service and say ‘Hi’ to all her friends!”

It looks like a Jesus Face is in the wreath up front

Will Tru(e) announce he’s giving up football for baseball in tribute to Boo? Will angry players form a mob to get Barry Bader, only to be stopped by Gil with the news that Mr. Bader didn’t cause Boo’s death? Will football season (which gets underway in Ohio in about three weeks with the first day of practice) start before October? Will Rub-Ham admit they read the comments here and glance at MUT for inspiration? Will MopMan get a new job polishing the church floor because it looks a bit dull right now?
