Wow… get an eyeful of Mrs. Lindstrom!

Actually, she wishes Mr. Lindstrom would just put a lid on it.

She should give him a little credit, though…I mean, at least she can’t complain that he doesn’t pay any attention to her…or that he never looks her in the eye.In fact, she’s never once had to tell him "My eyes are up here!

Mr Lindstrom coined the term “Eye Contact.”

Mr Lindstrom ought to make logos for the eyeball network (CBS).

Thanks Bev…. And yeah… they somewhat fixed my internet…but now it’s slow as molasses…and merely goes out less often than it did…but it still goes out.Another call to my ISP… sigh….but not till Thursday cos I’m working the Wednesday farmer’s market…plus I got a notice that the water will be off from 8am till 6pm…great….so I doubt I’ll be sitting around on the phone.

And thanks for the snow…. Sunday and Monday was when I really needed it….

    And @Happyᵌ… yuck!…

    PerkyCat…

A few months ago, I downloaded Windows 10 on purpose… so far, no big problems…I like it a bit better than Windows 8.1, but I still think Windows 7 was the best yet.

It sounds like your computer needs some tweaks to make it compatible.Wish I could help but I’m a bit far away! And there are people much better at that than I am.Meanwhile..I recently found out how Microsoft pulled off most of those sneaky and unwanted Windows 10 installations:There were notices popping up asking you to download, and then to install it. As they got more urgent, the “cancel” button was eliminated… so people clicked the little “X” in the corner, to close them.

Closing all other notices simply makes them go away, just like the “cancel” button…but some evil genius at Microsoft changed that behavior..so for those notices only, that little X became an “OK” button. The notice usually offered a suggested time for the installation, and the ability to re-schedule… but people who thought they were closing it didn’t worry about that…..nor connect it in their memory with the installation that started hours later. .

So they unwittingly “agreed” to do a several hour installation in the middle of their usual computer time!Anyway, no… it’s not my computer acting up; it’s my internet connection.

I don’t have an ethernet cord from my computer to the modem…. my little laptop (my only computer now) picks up the DSL signal over WiFi, and so does my phone when I’m home.

When a page or a picture won’t open, I look at my taskbar and see that the WiFi icon has faded…then it changes to showing “no connection.”At that point, if I’ve just hit “submit,” my post either shows up when the connection returns….either already in the forum, or still sitting in the comment box…but sometimes it’s been completely lost in transit.I have no 4G signal here… so there will also be no data connection on my phone.T Mobile allows calls over WiFi…. but of course I lose those too.Glad I have a landline!

A few moments or sometimes 10 minutes later… it’s all back. Till it happens again.
