Gun control will not affect terrorists – they have sources for weapons that bypass normal channels. Gun control is for the guy who shoots his neighbor because the dog crapped on his lawn once too often. Gun control is for the guy who fires into a car because it passed him on the freeway. Gun control is for the guy who shoots a hurt teenage girl in the face because she knocked on his door after dark. It’s for the people the NRA has made so paranoid that everyone is out to get them that they will shoot their own housemates because they got out of bed in the middle of the night and a floorboard creaked.
