    Me too, Rose….In fact, I often think I’m not sleepy, till I wake up in my chair…. mid-post, fingers on the keyboard… what would have been a scintillating jest now forgotten…..

    Go to bed….lie awake till dawn.

    Frumdebang and L …Sometimes I think we’re losing the distinction….sigh….

    and that between “loose” and “lose”…and all the variants of “they’re, their, there” ….One day no one will remember how to use “lie” and “lay”…and I’ve already been criticised for using that outdated word, “whom”, and for saying “if I were …”.

    Online forums reinforce bad grammar, and help ‘teach’ people that plurals have apostrophes and “huge” is spelled “hugh.”The fact that I even care makes me feel old…

    “Your” cannot be a substitute for “you’re.” See, in that way there is no verb in YOUR sentence. Oh, never mind. This is a lost cause.

    @TonyIf I weren’t awake, I wouldn’t be able to point out that, in the 1st panel, it should read “you’re” rather than “your”.

    @Tony

    Whenever a movie bores me, I just stop watching it. When I’m too tired to stay awake for an interesting movie, I go to bed and watch it later.

    The movie was great. I fell asleep during one of the 8 minute commercial breaks.

    I’d rather not be awake at this moment but I have to go to work so awake I must be.

    I don’t remember the last movie I fell asleep during, it happens more often than I care to admit. but I am not an “old lady” yet! :-)

    I have it on DVD and I haven’t fallen asleep on it yet. A buddy of mine could never make it through Raiders Of the Lost Ark. Fell asleep every time. Not me, though Too much action.

    It is ’you’re’, not ‘your’. Get with the correct grammar.

    How does a professional who writes his own strip not know the difference between “your” and “you’re?” I haven’t made that mistake since second grade!
