Poncho: The problem with living with humans is it's allowed them to figure out how dog brains work.

Just like my cat from a few years back. When she heard the can opener (electric) she’d come running! I imagine she’d be thinking “Could be for me or maybe not but I’d better check!”

Reminiscent of the strip from some years back in which Chazz gets him into the bathtub by telling him there are pork chops there. Poncho thought, at the time, ‘even for a dog I’m stupid’ (paraphrased from memory … but I have the strip on my office door so I read it not so long ago).
