Fighting for the country on the battlefield. Dying fighting with the country over medical treatment.

Some died in a preemptive strike based on lies. Some died to install a new dictator that we could control better. Some died and set a whole lot of people free.

Yeah but you know, ONLY during the Obama administration. There were no long waits for veterans when Bush was president. Or any other president.

And of course, the Republican Congress has remained vigilant in blaming Obama. They couldn’t possibly allocate more resources to the VA when someone like that is president.

They died because REPUBLICANS in CONGRESS have been screwing over the VA (and other agencies) for several decades in preventing them through “micro-management” from using the money for more staffing, and efforts to retain quality folks as the numbers of veterans needing care SOARED thanks to Republican chickenhawk’’s wars. (Plus all the old guys from ‘Nam finally signing up because they couldn’t afford care on their own.)

It’s also notable that the PENTAGON has falsified records on many veterans, like my son, to prevent them from getting the benefits they EARNED AND DESERVE!! Of course, they did the same thing to me when they purged my medical records in ‘69 before sending them on to St. Louis for “safe strorage”. At least today folks have easier access to copy their own records. My son’s run over 700 pages, but the Pentagon still denied his appeals, even WITH multiple records that PROVE his case is valid!!

Yes, VA can use some improvement, but I know a lot more folks being served to the capacity VA has retained,, and the STAFF there are overall quite good and caring. Not at all like right-wing chickenhawks in Congress.
